Some years ago, google became infested by Bill Gates stupid idea to let software use your location to decide the language. I say stupid idea bacause for some years when I type google.com it was redirected to either google.dk or .de dependent where I was at that time. It must be logic that if a user types google.com he wants to see the webserver that has that name, but not Google (HP/Canon and many other crap sites).
I was annoyed to no end! I have worked with computers for more than 20 years and only in English. One day I found the soloution....on google. Use the "switch" ncr. ncr=no country redirection (at least that's how I interpetate it). So whenever I go to google I go google.com/ncr and no matter where I am, I get the google I want.
Just wanted to share in case you did not know.
